Presenter: Dr. Sara Whittingham

Join us at 50 North on April 10 at 4PM for a special presentation with Dr. Sara Whittingham, a physician, Air Force veteran, Ironman triathlete, and Parkinson’s advocate whose story challenges outdated narratives about life after diagnosis.

Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at age 46, Dr. Whittingham brings both medical expertise and lived experience to the conversation. After an especially difficult first year, she rebuilt her life through evidence-based care, purposeful movement, and community—going on to complete multiple triathlons, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona.

This presentation is part of the launch of her upcoming book, Oh Crap! It's Parkinson's: A Rebel’s Guide to Life with Parkinson’s, a hopeful, no-nonsense field guide for people with Parkinson’s, care partners, clinicians, and anyone who wants practical tools for living fully with the disease.

Dr. Whittingham will share insights on mindset, movement, science, and resilience, offering practical takeaways and encouragement for those navigating Parkinson’s—personally or professionally.
