The Hancock County Parkinson's Network is honored to welcome Dr. Ray Dorsey to Findlay as part of his national book tour.

Recognized as one of the world's most widely read, cited, and respected neurologists, Dr. Dorsey has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding of Parkinson's disease and its root causes. He is the co-author of the New York Times bestsellers Ending Parkinson's Disease (2020) and The Parkinson's Plan: A New Path to Prevention and Treatment (2025). His research focuses on the growing evidence that environmental exposures play a significant role in Parkinson's disease and other neurological disorders.

During this special presentation, Dr. Dorsey will discuss the science behind his latest work, the future of Parkinson's research, and why prevention, education, and community awareness are more important than ever. Attendees will gain valuable insight into one of today's leading voices in Parkinson's disease research and advocacy.

Dr. Dorsey's distinguished career includes serving as the founding director of the Center for the Brain & Environment at Atria Health and Research Institute, where he leads research focused on identifying and eliminating environmental contributors to Parkinson's disease, ALS, Alzheimer's disease, intellectual disabilities, and other neurological conditions. He also serves as a part-time Professor of Neurology at the University of Rochester. His work has been recognized by the White House, and he has testified before Congress while advising the World Health Organization on Parkinson's disease.
